Assisano District

The Complex Assisano includes the city of Assisi and also the municipalities of Bastia Umbra, Bettona Cannara and occupying the northern part of the Umbrian valley. The territory Assisano and especially the town of Assisi is a very popular destination with tourists both Italian and international thanks both to the memory of St. Francis and St. Clare but also thanks to the numerous and beautiful basilicas in which there are wonderful works by Giotto or other painters of his caliber.
