The town of Nocera Umbra is located at the center of a vast mountainous territory along the Via Flaminia Consular connecting the cities of Foligno and Gualdo Tadino. Post on the top of a spur of rock, which dominates the small river Topino and Flaminia, Nocera Umbra, with its appearance perched shows obvious signs of his past as a defensive structure.
