The territory of Piegaro is mostly hilly, in fact only a fifth of it is flat. There are two chains that hilly him, and bordering the river Nestòre; further north that is cultivated with cereals, vines and olive trees, while further south is covered by forests of oaks, oaks, chestnuts and pines and Most importantly relief Montarale (853 meters above sea level). From here you can have a panorama of the orvietano (common Fabro, Monteleone d'Orvieto and others). The centre is very famous for its glass, whose beginnings go back to the thirteenth century: in the heart of the country can admire the ancient glass that will soon host the Museum of glass Piegaro.
