Founded in the tenth century, the country has a very picturesque: Located on a hill 451 metres high and surrounded by magnificent olive groves, preserves the remains of the medieval ramparts, towers and homes dating back to'400 and'500.

Another interesting excursion to do a few kilometres from Stroncone is what leads us to The Meadows, a plateau to almost 1000 meters of altitude, equipped with tourist facilities: the splendid chestnut centuries of Cimitelle, and the magnificent landscape, both basin of Terni, both of the reatin valley.
