The Colfiorito Park is the smallest park which is located in Umbria. In 1976 he was already protected by the Ramsar international convention, for the presence of a moor, the richness of plant species and dell'avifauna, and that, as neighbors Col. Falcone, plans Annifo and Arvello, Plan Ricciano, Selva di Cupigliolo and Sasso of Pale, is a Site of Community Importance. The park covers an area of 338 hectares that are sull'altipiano of Colfiorito dell'Appennino Umbrian-Marche. Of these approximately 100 hectares are covered by the swamp of Colfiorito which is one of the best examples of wetland in central Italy.
