Province of Terni

The Province of Terni in Umbria is a province bordering north with the province of Perugia, east, south and west with Lazio more precisely with the province of Rieti and while Viterbo north-west Tuscany. In the province were created two important nature reserves which are mainly related to the protection and management of water and river ecosystems. Park River Tiber in the municipalities of Alviano, Basque, Guardea, Montecchio and Orvieto, and the Park River between Black Arrone, Ferentillo, Montefranco, Polino and Terni. Also in this province is famous Marmore waterfalls which attract a large number of tourists and visitors.
